Time to meet our team!
Studio Owner
Alex used pilates as a rehabilitation tool to overcome a shoulder injury sustained in her final year of uni. For the past 5 years pilates has been an essential part of Alex’s life seeing her through: a career in dentistry, maintaining an active pregnancy and now as a busy mum of (nearly) 3.
She loves the way Reformer Pilates helps her to feel strong, empowered and pain free. Her passion is to help women, from all walks of life, to find strength and joy in movement.
Lead Trainer
Katie has been with Move since 2016, beginning as a client and then joining the team at the end of 2019.
Persistent lower back pain and shoulder issues is why she started pilates, since finding relief and joy in movement, she hasn’t looked back.
Katie brings along her warmth and down to earth self to make clients feel comfortable, motivated and joyous in their classes.
“I want to help my clients to feel empowered, strong and to make movement achievable and enjoyable for everyone”.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Admin Leader
Chloe started pilates as a way to regain strength and overcome back pain after having children. Seeing the effects it had on her both physically and mentally it quickly became a weekly staple in her life, leading into a career in pilates.
“ I am passionate about sharing the benefits of pilates with my clients. Supporting them to move in a way that makes then feel confident- and that they enjoy”.
Group Instructor
Jess started coming to Move Pilates in 2021 after suffering from chronic back pain. She loved the way the movement made her feel so much, that she decided to pursue training as a Reformer Pilates instructor.
Jess is a Murray Bridge local, born and raised and is passionate about helping people feel: strong-and-confident in themselves and the way their body moves. Jess is qualified as a: Strength and Conditioning coach, Personal Trainer and is currently studying a bachelor of Physiotherapy at Adelaide Uni.
Group Instructor
Ali started attending classes with Move back in 2016 to gain whole body strength and flexibility. With a background in dance, the balance between the two was a must for her.
Ali has been Instructing Mat pilates for almost 2 years now and has finally jumped on board as a reformer instructor this year. She’s a busy mother of 3, living locally and balancing 3 jobs (what a woman), so looking after her body and mind is more important than ever!
“Pilates makes me feel both physically and mentally strong, & that’s what is important for me. Plus it gives me time to focus on ME”
