What to Expect: A whole new level of flexibility.
Extra Moves is an independently run Reformer Pilates class where you can workout at your own pace and at a time that suits you. The session is 40 minutes of guided movement via a pre-recorded class that you can stream from your phone or ipad in-studio. Via the fully-guided video, your Move instructor will provide layered movements that will: bend, balance and strengthen your whole body. Our recorded class plan will provide 20 minutes of full body movement and 20 minutes of guided stretching. The choice is yours if you would like to follow the recorded class, or lay down and enjoy some uninterrupted legs in straps time.
You will leave an extra moves session feeling: energised, empowered and flexible…from head-to-toe.
This session is ideal if you are: a regular mover wanting some extra moving (or stretching) in-between classes. This is a great option for our time-poor movers who want to move in their lunch break, on their way to the food shops or for the days that your mini mover is in toe.
As demand grows, so will our Extra Move session times!
To kick things off, from the 26th of September 2022 our weekly sessions will be:
Mondays: 11am-11:45am & 11:45-12:30pm
Tuesdays: 12:00-12:45pm & 12:45–1:30pm
Wednesday: 12:00-12:45pm & 12:45–1:30pm
Thursdays: 11am-11:45am & 11:45-12:30pm
As a thank you for being here, we will be gifting you a free (ongoing) fortnightly Extra Move session as part of your fortnightly membership from September 26th. Down the track, if you would like to join these independent sessions more often, a weekly unlimited pass will be available to purchase for $33.

In all Move Pilates classes you can expect a layered approach to your class whether you are in a group setting, or moving independently.
The main difference between the 2 class types is your Extra Move session is independently run, meaning no instructor is present in the room with you. The class session is streamed via an iPad for you to follow along with.
Yes! At the start of class we will mention any modifications you may need to be aware of.
E.g if kneeling is not for you we will suggest an alternative like side-lying leg instead.
A 40 minute pre-recorded class. Your instructor will be doing the class plan along with you, so all you have to do is watch the screen and follow along.
The class recording is divided into 2 parts:
20 minutes of full body movement and 20 minutes of stretching.
Mondays: 11am-11:45am & 11:45-12:30pm
Tuesdays:12:00-12:45pm & 12:45–1:30pm
Wednesday: 12:00-12:45pm & 12:45–1:30pm
Thursdays: 11am-11:45am & 11:45-12:30pm
If the demand from our movers is there for more times- yes!
Class will begin with 6 in each time slot
Prior to joining in an Extra Move session, you need to complete a (free) Current Member: Extra Moves Consult. You can book that review time by following this link or via the Mindbody app, under appointments.
Once you have completed your review, you can book your session just as you do any other class via the website or mindbody app.
Members will receive a free fortnightly session along with their fortnightly membership. If down the track you want to join these sessions more regularly, you can purchase an unlimited weekly pass for $33
We encourage you to move in a way that feels good. Feel free to explore movement, bending and stretching in any direction you like on the day. As this is an independent session we encourage you to move in a way that you enjoy, but keeps you safe.
Yes. For safety we ask that they do not join in, or play with any equipment. Because little fingers, and springs aren’t a good match.
Moving is always more fun with friends. Prior to joining you, your friend needs to book a review and purchase an Extra Moves Pass.
